Which SAP versions does Cart Nexus support?
Cart Nexus supports SAP S/4HANA (on-premise and cloud), SAP ECC 6.0, and SAP Business One. For S/4HANA and ECC, we connect via BAPI/RFC or OData APIs. For Business One, we use the Service Layer REST API. The same Cart Nexus platform handles all variants — your Shopify-side configuration stays identical regardless of SAP version.
Do I need custom ABAP development to integrate Shopify with SAP?
No. Cart Nexus connects through standard SAP APIs (BAPIs, RFCs, OData services) and does not require custom ABAP programs, function modules, or IDocs. All data transformation and business logic is handled in Cart Nexus configuration using our DTO-driven engine with JSONata expressions.
Can Shopify orders sync to SAP in real time?
Yes. Cart Nexus supports webhook-triggered real-time sync — new Shopify orders create SAP sales orders immediately via BAPI calls. You can also use scheduled batch sync for inventory updates and payment postings. Both modes are independently configurable per data type.
How does Cart Nexus handle multi-plant inventory from SAP?
Cart Nexus reads inventory at the plant and storage-location level from SAP and aggregates or maps it to your Shopify inventory locations. You can configure which plants feed which Shopify locations, apply safety stock buffers, and choose real-time or scheduled sync per plant.
How much does the Shopify SAP integration cost?
Cart Nexus offers two tiers: Plus (for standard order and inventory flows) and Enterprise (for complex multi-plant, multi-currency, or custom business-rule scenarios). Pricing is flat-rate with no per-task or per-transaction fees. Contact us for a quote based on your SAP landscape.
What happens when SAP releases an S/4HANA update or API change?
